Breakfast with Santa: A Heartwarming Tradition at West Ridge Community Church

The holiday season is a time for joy, connection, and giving back, and Breakfast with Santa at West Ridge Community Church in Elgin, IL embodies all of these values. This cherished annual event continued to shine this past Christmas, with new touches enhancing an already magical experience.

Over 200 people registered for this festive morning, which was packed with holiday cheer and community spirit. Families enjoyed a delightful breakfast while mingling with Santa Claus himself, played by the wonderful Rob Burhite. Adding to the festive fun, Buddy the Elf made a special appearance, spreading his signature brand of holiday hilarity and joy.

The event featured a beloved hot chocolate bar, complete with all the toppings anyone could dream of. It was a hit with kids and adults alike, providing the perfect cozy treat on a chilly morning.

This event is more than just holiday fun; it's also a meaningful way for Fellowship Housing staff to connect with the West Ridge community who give so generously all year long to support Fellowship Housing moms. Breakfast with Santa provides an opportunity to express gratitude and share stories of impact, reminding everyone of the true spirit of the season.
