The Tony Navitsky Partner Spotlight: Blink Tees & Steve Long

The Tony Navitsky Partner Spotlight is a quarterly recognition honoring those who faithfully serve Fellowship Housing mothers and their children. For the second quarter of 2024, we are honoring Blink Tees & Steve Long.

Blink Tees, a screen-printing company, has been a long-time community partner with Fellowship Housing. A big reason for that is due to the big-hearted, mission focused, community minded, Co-Owner Steve Long.

One year for a gala, the regularly scheduled auctioneer had an unfortunate diagnosis of kidney stones and was unable to host. Steve Long was called to fill in! See what he had to say about how Fellowship Housing captured his heart.

"My very first experience with Fellowship Housing was getting asked to host the gala last minute because the original host was in the hospital with kidney stones. It was an amazing night. I would go from a sobbing mess as I heard the incredible stories of these moms that were putting in the work to change the legacy of their families to having to clean my face off and gain some sense of composure before jumping back on stage.

From that night on I was hooked! There’s nothing like getting to be a teeny part of the giant work that Fellowship Housing is doing right here in our own community. It’s been an absolute joy and honor and can’t wait to see how I will get to partner with Fellowship Housing in the future!” - Steve Long

Blink Tees has done a lot of printing for Fellowship Housing, and we would highly recommend working with them for all your screen printing needs but more specifically, Steve has been a committed partner and advocate for Fellowship Housing.

Here are just some of the ways Steve Long has made a “teeny” difference:

  • Emcee and Auctioneer for both the gala and golf outing.

  • A gala attendee and golfer during the golf outing.

  • An ambassador for Fellowship Housing. If Steve is out in the community leading a networking event, hosting a trivia night with his company Anti-Normal Trivia, or buying shoes at a local running shop in Schaumburg, he is talking about Fellowship Housing. He is raising awareness and cheering on single moms who are being empowered to build a new legacy for their family!

  • Organized the first year of “Team Fellowship Housing” to run in the Life Time Chicago Half Marathon in September of 2024.

  • Is now a Hope Builder. A Hope Builder is someone who provides stability to Fellowship Housing families by giving monthly.

I hope you know that Steve has made much more than a “teeny” difference. He is a man with a giant heart for making the world a better place and Steve it is an honor to highlight you and Blink Tees this quarter!
