The Tony Navitsky Partner Spotlight: West Ridge Church

The Tony Navitsky Partner Spotlight is a quarterly recognition honoring those who faithfully serve Fellowship Housing mothers and their children. For the first quarter of 2024, we are honoring West Ridge Church.

"West Ridge has surpassed all expectations from beginning their partnership with Fellowship Housing starting in 2022. Even as the number of families grows, the congregation continues to meet the needs of the moms and their children. West Ridge first served the children of Fellowship Housing by providing Easter baskets," said Genesis Bedon, Fellowship Housing Program Coordinator.

Here is an overview of how West Ridge Church has served the families of Fellowship Housing over the past two years:

West Ridge Hosted:
Fellowship Housing Graduation
Breakfast with Santa Christmas Event for moms and kids

West Ridge Provided:
Mother's Day gifts
Kids Easter Baskets
Winter coats, gloves, and hats drive
Back-to-school backpacks and materials
Gas gift cards
Christmas tree lights
Grocery gift cards for Christmas dinners (West Ridge private donor)
Toys from their Huff Elementary Toy sale

West Ridge has gone above and beyond to show care for Fellowship Housing families. We are so grateful for their partnership!

ABOUT THE TONY NAVITSKY PARTNER SPOTLIGHT

The Navitsky's have been a special part of Fellowship Housing for many years. Mona Navitsky has been a volunteer since 2008 with a true passion for supporting our moms. Mona has also served on Fellowship Housing's Board of Directors for over 9 years.

The Tony Navitsky Partner Spotlight is named in loving memory of Mona's husband, a dear Fellowship Housing supporter. His legacy continues with those who faithfully serve the at-risk mothers and their children who walk through the doors of Fellowship Housing.

The Tony Navitsky Volunteer Recognitions began in 2011 as the Volunteer of the Year Award at the Fellowship Housing Annual Gala. Now a quarterly recognition, this distinction continues to honor those who serve families in need and "look after the orphans and widows in their distress" (James 1:27).
