*Sarah & Allie's Stories

The moms of Fellowship Housing keep giving us reasons to celebrate! Here are some highlights from two moms this past month...

At Sarah's 18 month review last month she shared that when she came to Fellowship Housing she was broke and broken. Now she exudes confidence and has found community with other women. After 18 months she has paid off $32,000 of debt, saved $12,000 and increased her credit score by 170 points. She is looking forward to graduating and becoming a homeowner!

Allie, a former Fellowship Housing mom, bought a new home recently and said that Fellowship Housing “played a huge part in this accomplishment!” Allie was at Fellowship housing for about a year before choosing to exit early. While making wonderful progress, she was enduring a long commute to Chicago for work, childcare and a school for her teenager where she had secured a scholarship. Allie promised she'd continue following the budget and use the tools she learned to reach her dream of owning a place of her own. And she did it! We are so proud of her for continuing the hard work of building a new legacy for her family.

Thank you for making these life-changing resources, tools and trainings possible for the moms of Fellowship Housing. They are breaking the cycle of poverty and building new legacies for their families because of your support.
