May Mom Celebrations

It was a wonderful May celebrating the hard-working moms of Fellowship Housing. With Mother's day on May 9th, may individuals and businesses stepped in to let the moms know how much their hard works is seen and that they are loved.

Tate & Lyle donated gift bags for moms containing some at home spa items, a board game, and lots of better-for-you snacking items.

Loving Covers made beautiful handmade makeup bags.

Life Changers women’s group donated bouquets of flowers, Mother’s Day balloons, mugs, coffee, makeup bags with makeup item from Macy’s, a book, and gift cards to Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts.

Rachel Barry donated Crumbl Cookies.

Thank you all; your thoughtfulness and generosity made the moms feel incredibly celebrated for Mother's Day.

Additionally, we celebrated with 2019 Fellowship Housing Graduate, *Denise, on her Honors Convocation at Harper College. The Honors Convocation is an event separate from graduation, recognizing high achievement, including select scholarship winners, students who have demonstrated excellence in a discipline, Phi Theta Kappa graduates, Alpha Delta Nu graduates, Honors Program graduates, Engineering Pathways graduates, Global Distinction graduates, and 4.0 grade point average graduates. We are so proud of her hard work in continuing her education and can't wait to see what Denise does next!
