*Naomi's Story

Naomi joined the Fellowship Housing family in the fall of 2019. Like so many Fellowship Housing moms, she came to us with little support available from her family as both her own father and the father of her children are in prison. With many challenges earlier in life, Naomi left high school early which made it tough for her to find good work and support her family. Despite a difficult and painful past, Naomi arrived with an optimistic spirit and great work ethic. She quickly set goals to save, pay off debt, raise her credit score, and hopefully purchase a home of her own upon graduating.

It has been hard work these last 18 months, but Naomi is incredibly grateful for your support that is allowing her to build a better future for her children. She's been able to save over $23,000 and raise her credit score by over 115 points! She also just finished paying off her remaining debt.

Naomi shared that while she is getting nervous about graduating, she is excited for what the future holds. She continues to build on the skills she has learned and remains hopeful to purchase a home of her own. She is so humble, kind and grateful. We're cheering Naomi on and hope to celebrate her becoming a home owner when she graduates this summer!
