Spring Events for FH Families
EASTER MEALS & BASKETS
Thank you to West Ridge Church, Willow Creek Church's Wheaton Campus, and Food for Friends for hopping on board to help Fellowship Housing families have a wonderful Easter! Food for Friends provided 35 Easter Blue bags including ham and all the trimmings for an Easter meal along with a treat for the children while West Ridge and Willow Creek Wheaton provided very thoughtfully crafted, age-specific Easter baskets for the kids. Acts of kindness like these reassure our families that they are supported, loved, and worthy of being celebrated and we are so grateful for these three partners for making it a special day for the families we serve.
FAMILY BOWLING EVENT
Each year our long-time, big-hearted partners at Food for Friends host a bowling event for the families of Fellowship Housing. Fellowship Housing moms have a monthly budget of only $25 per family member toward entertainment and eating out, so this is a rare treat. The event is also a community-building time for the families of Fellowship Housing and they are incredibly grateful for this gift from Food for Friends.
