Holiday Highlights!
Because of your incredible generosity, Fellowship Housing families had a wonderful holiday season! During their two years with Fellowship Housing, moms abide by a strict budget of just the essentials. Items like gifts and holiday decor are excluded. That's where our generous friends and partners step in! Our families were again blessed with gifts, holiday decor, and celebrations just for them!
Here are some of the ways our friends helped spread holiday cheer in 2022:
West Ridge Community Church invited Fellowship Housing moms to select toys and books from their annual Toy Drive. Moms were so grateful that they could 'shop' for their own children, evidenced by 100% participation in the event by Fellowship Housing moms!
West Ridge also hosted a Breakfast with Santa on December 10. Festivities included games, crafts, photos with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and Buddy the Elf, and a meal with delicious chocolate chip pancakes and sausage!
Clearwater Capital Wealth bought all 11 Christmas Trees from our Target Registry so each family could have their own!
Mervyn de Souza and his family, friends, and neighbors donated stocking stuffers, Christmas ornaments, and decorations.
The Alonzo Small Group donated new ornaments.
Loving Covers donated stockings and stocking stuffers.
A private donor from West Ridge Church gave all our families $50 Meijer gift cards to use for Christmas meals.
A Fellowship Housing Graduate donated gifts for some of our moms.
Various individuals and small groups adopted families to provide all their Christmas gifts!
Genesis, Fellowship Housing's Program Coordinator, who spearheaded these efforts, said, "Our moms were blessed this year in so many ways. They received gifts for themselves and their children and enjoyed putting ornaments on their own trees with their families. This made the season so much more special."
