Fellowship Housing’s First Half Marathon & 5K Fundraiser: A Huge Success!

This year marked an exciting milestone for Fellowship Housing as we hosted our very first fundraising team to run in the Life Time Half Marathon and 5K on Sunday, September 29th, 2024! Unsure of what to expect, we were fortunate to have Steve Long on our side. With a wealth of experience in participating in marathons and fundraising for various organizations, Steve approached us with the inspiring idea to raise funds for Fellowship Housing through this event. His passion and leadership were instrumental in turning this vision into a reality, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

The Fellowship Housing Endurance Team consisted of 20 dedicated members, including 11 fundraisers, all of whom came together with a shared goal of making a difference. Through their hard work and the generosity of their supporters, the team raised an astounding $15,456! These funds will have an immediate and long-lasting impact on the lives of single mothers and their children in Fellowship Housing, providing them with the support they need to build a stable future.

A special thank you goes out to Steve Long, our fearless leader and champion, for bringing this idea to life. His heart for single moms and his commitment to our mission have left a lasting impact, and we’re so grateful for his vision and leadership.

Together, this incredible team has shown that with determination, community, and a lot of heart, we can create meaningful change. We look forward to building on this momentum and making next year’s event even bigger and better!
