Fellowship Housing Graduation – June 2023

On June 17, West Ridge Community Church generously hosted the first Fellowship Housing Graduation of 2023, celebrating five tenacious moms and their incredible accomplishments. 

Over the past two years, each of these five graduates, on average, saved $29,000, paid off $13,000 in debt, increased their salaries by $9,000, and increased their credit scores by 99 points. Their hard work has forged a path for a bright future and a new legacy for their family. 

A team of more than a dozen volunteers from West Ridge, led by Jennifer Rome, hosted a beautiful brunch and provided childcare for the Fellowship Housing moms. The months of preparations and behind-the-scenes work showcased the amazing love and support West Ridge members pour into Fellowship Housing families. 

A favorite moment from the Graduation was when a graduate's daughter shared, "The thing I admire most about my mom is her strength. She is a very independent and prideful woman. I know asking for help has always been hard for her, but she put aside her pride and applied for this amazing program... She will never fully realize how thankful and proud I am of her."
