In August, Fellowship Housing was contacted by members of the The Greater Chicago Chapter of IAHSP (International Association of Home Staging Professionals), seeking a non-profit to bless through their participation in the World Wide Staging Service Week. This year, the service week was completed around the week of September 11th.

The International Association of Home Staging Professionals Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Barb Schwarz, the Creator of Home Staging, and founded on a belief in “Thinking globally, acting locally through the world of home staging.” On September 19th, 30 volunteers completely transformed the home of one of Fellowship Housing’s recent graduates.

When a mom moves in to their apartment with Fellowship Housing they often come in with little to no furniture and often rely on the donations and generosity of individuals and organizations to furnish their homes. For moms completing the program and moving in to their forever homes they are often taking the donated furniture with them and generally do not have much to spend on home furnishings.

Thanks to the hard work and generosity of the volunteers from the Greater Chicago IAHSP Regional Chapter for creating a beautiful and relaxing home for this single mom and her children to enjoy for years to come!

Check out the video below to see all the before and after photos from one of the amazing Greater Chicago IAHSP volunteers who served the Fellowship Housing family on September 19th.
